THINK FAITH

WITH ROHAN BELL

Christian perspectives on culture, politics, ethics, and difficult issues

Think Faith helps Christians think clearly about culture, politics, ethics, social issues, and public life from a thoughtful, biblical perspective.

We live in a world that is increasingly noisy, reactive, and divided. Social issues are often reduced to weaponised slogans used by one side or the other. Political conversations quickly become polarised. Christians can feel pressure either to simply follow the crowd, react in fear, or stay silent altogether.

Rohan’s Think Faith content is designed to help us take a different approach. This is a place to slow down, think carefully, and explore how faith connects with the real questions and issues shaping our world. Rather than offering quick opinions or easy answers, the goal is to help us think well, respond wisely, and engage others in a way that holds both truth and love together.

Rohan believes that we don’t have to choose between biblical conviction and genuine compassion. Too often, difficult issues are presented as though there are only two options: either we hold firmly to what we believe and become harsh, reactive, or defensive, or we become more loving and understanding by letting go of conviction. But Jesus never worked that way. He consistently held truth and grace together, and Think Faith is about learning to do the same.

This content explores the intersection of faith, culture, politics, ethics, social issues, and everyday life in a thoughtful, balanced, and deeply grounded way that aims to follow the teachings of Jesus. It is designed for people who want to move beyond outrage, fear, oversimplification, and social-media reactions, and instead develop a deeper, more resilient faith that can navigate complexity with wisdom, humility, and courage and love.

Whether we are thinking about politics, social issues, public life, culture, or the difficult questions people are often afraid to discuss, the aim is not simply to tell us what to think, but to help us think well.

Along the way, we explore questions such as:

  • How should Christians think about political and social issues without simply adopting the views of the left or the right?

  • What does it look like to hold biblical convictions without becoming harsh, defensive, or fearful?

  • How do we engage people we disagree with in a way that is both truthful and genuinely loving?

  • How should our faith shape the way we think about culture, justice, ethics, politics, and public life?

  • What do we do when an issue is more complicated than it first appears?

  • How can Christians respond wisely to the social and ethical issues shaping our world today?

You will often hear things like:

  • “Christians often get this wrong…”

  • “You do not have to choose between truth and love…”

  • “Here is a better way to think about this…”

  • “This issue is more complex than it first appears…”

  • “Christians often miss the nuance of this situation…”

Because Think Faith is about more than opinions.

It is about forming a kind of faith that remains thoughtful and grounded in a complicated world. A faith that is not controlled by fear, outrage, social pressure, or whatever happens to be trending. A faith that is willing to think deeply, listen carefully, speak graciously, and remain anchored in Jesus.
